Whether your project is personal or professional, I’m here to help.

Ghostwriting. Editing. Content development.

Getting started

To make sure that we’re a good fit, get in touch and tell me the nature of your project. If it sounds like we will be good collaborators, I will ask you for a sample or two of the project you want done … a chapter, a few paragraphs, or even just some ideas with details I can work with.

From there, I will edit/write an initial draft and share it for your review and suggestions. You then send it back to me. After I’ve worked on it a second time, I’ll send it back for either your final approval to move forward together or your decision to seek help elsewhere.

It’s been my experience this is the best way to determine a successful collaboration. There is no charge for this phase.

Sealing the deal

If you hire me, I’ll send you a contract to sign and we’ll set about getting everything I need to fully focus on your project.

My rate is $75/hr with a two hour minimum. While I charge for time taken to write, our phone/email/text chats will not be used to determine the final cost of the completed job. (And my quick writing/editing doesn’t undermine the substance and style of my writing.)

When I have delivered the final copy to you, I would appreciate full payment within 2 weeks.

I keep full confidentiality for ghostwriting projects in particular. If you’re happy with my work, I also welcome and appreciate any referrals you feel comfortable sending my way. You need not tell them the scope of my help — that’s where the “Shhh … ” part comes in, as that will always be between us.

About me

What I have always done very well is write and edit. I’ve edited the well-reviewed “It’s OK Not to Be OK … Right Now” by Dr. Mark D. Lerner, and I’ve written for both personal and professional events, including baby and bridal showers, birthdays, retirements, business proposals, speeches, and more. My talent is capturing and enhancing the unique voice of the person or business I’m writing for.

I am a Rhode Island School of Design grad with a masters in educational counseling. Before becoming a full-time mom, I taught special education in the New York City public school system.

I currently substitute teach K–8 in my home district of Plainview-Old Bethpage on Long Island. I might teach the vertically challenged one day and the hormonally challenged the next, which requires remembering to shift my line of sight from one classroom to another. But simply put, I love teaching.
